The new farmers market is coming to Las Olas Boulevard as the Outdoor Urban Gourmet Market, featuring farm fresh fruits and vegetables, culinary herbs, tropical plants and orchids, fresh baked breads and pastries from Gran Forno and Stork’s Coffee House, local honey, handmade soaps and wonderful market baskets to carry your selection of goodies home. The Las Olas Association is sponsoring the event and local businesses are supporting the endeavor, which will take place in the Las Olas Chemist parking lot on the Northeast corner of Las Olas Blvd. and Southeast 12th Ave. The market is held the second Sunday of each month.

So I talked it over via e-mail with Danny and I am ready to let it lose. This isn’t my blog… It’s our blog.. Post what you have going on. If there is an event on Hollywood or Miami Beach post it here. If there is something going on at one of the parks post it here. Try to tag your posts also.
After you shoot an evnt go ahead and post a followup with a couple images.. This is going to epace Flickr or one of the other sites. It’s just togive us an idea what we missed.

I started this so that people who had meets or photo shoots or other events could pass the word and share information. The club website is a good starting point for the info but this blog gives people a chance to comment and update info about different events.
